In response the discussion we were having on the Practicum Blog. Its strange my comment kept erasing itself. I choose option e. Revise the GAG logo and use it. -OR- Michelle's idea - a ruler and exact...
I am sticking to option D, revising the DDM Logo. I saw that this logo is about 5 years old and could get some revision done to it. And the one I am talking about is the black D&DM round logo with the CMYK colors.
We need to make a clear decision here. What is everyone's decision? please reply to this post so that way we can have a clear idea what everyone wants to do. I see that we have D chosen (Revise the DDM Logo). What else do we want to do? As for my decision, i want to CREATE a identity for Practicum which was A (create a identity for practicum) This is so we can to a decision TOGETHER.
Now we have 2 for Revising the DDM Logo. If we all agree on Option D, maybe we could get the other ones done this semester for Practicum. I am voting that we could do D first, then option A or E Next! This sounds like a plan that do able right? We won't let those options die, but put them in order as to which ones we approach first and next and so forth. Thoughts on this process please reply.
As a team mate from a well known video game once said: "Lets clean up this mess!" First off the new decision is coming to where we are all in unanimous with OPTION D. This is all agreeable to where we can get things started. However, we still need one more vote in order to tie the knot on this situation. i will be changing my vote to D as well, due to the facts that we already a specimen ready to use and we can create something revised to the table right away. i am for OPTION D. If we can get the opinion on one more member then we can move on to designing and creating the logo. seem fair enough?

And so far, based on the above post's results, it sounds like a the idea of just revising a logo is favored... correct? Now we just need to decide which logo to use...

Yes i was asking for the final decision. Yes that is what we are leaning toward as a group and so far everyone seems to be toward using the DDM logo and revise it to use it as our own. If you rememeber OPTION D was to revise the DDM logo and use it as our own. (the CMYK letters on the black circle). if we can make a final decision by today/tomorrow we can get this finished quickly.
Just missing one more person here before we can get something started. Until That person decides to agree or not agree with doing option D, we can't do anything. Also there are only 4 people in practicum.
Okay, it seems we have reached a unanimous decision to update the DDM logo. for a real life reference i have brought the mini billboard into the other room to see it upclose and personal. come in and see the billboard to get a rough idea on what you want to revise on the original version to bring it up to par with your idea.
To answer Kim's question. Yes, it has been used, so has GAG Design studio. The question is what do you guys want to do?

My final idea is to use the round black circle as the practicum logo & do touch ups such as modernizing the font.
