Welcome and welcome back to Independent Study / Practicum. As you know most of our classes have been off to a slow start, but not us! We are right on schedule. We will probably be meeting for the first time next week.
In the mean time I need to collect everyones availability on Wednesdays. We will likely be meeting at the coffee shop on Coal Street, when convenient.
Include your blog address for the class and name of the class should be the subject in your email. (Yes, even if you already sent it.)
About the class:
If you had the class before, little has changed. Practicum is a project based class, that provides you the opportunity to work on real projects for real clients. With this in mind, you should be prepared for a wide variety of projects, and short deadlines. While the deadlines can be challenging the work load is normally relatively light, you should expect 2 to 4 projects.
Currently we have nothing in the queue, when jobs come up they will be posted here. You will be informed of updates by email. However, it is your responsibility to keep up with the assignments even if for some reason you do not receive the notification.
